POPIA Notice
Last updated 25 July 2026
Why this notice exists
South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, POPIA, sets out how personal information must be collected, used, and protected. This notice explains how Majola Marketing Group, referred to here as MMG, applies it, alongside the fuller detail in our Privacy Policy.
The responsible party
Majola Marketing Group is the responsible party for personal information processed through the MMG platform. Our Information Officer can be reached through the Contact page.
Why we process personal information
To provide the platform to the business account that signed up for it, to run the marketing and lead follow up that account has authorized, to bill for the service, and to meet our own legal obligations.
Where information is stored
Some infrastructure used to run the platform is located outside South Africa. Where that is the case, we rely on providers that maintain a comparable standard of protection to POPIA, as the Act requires for a cross border transfer.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, to ask for it to be deleted where there is no lawful reason to keep it, and to object to processing you disagree with. These requests can be made from Privacy settings inside your account, or through the Contact page.
Lodging a complaint
If you believe your information has been handled incorrectly, you can raise it with us directly first. You also have the right to complain to South Africa's Information Regulator, at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za or inforegulator.org.za.
